I'm a writer and teacher with my feet rooted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and my heart in the gardens of England.
Throughout my career as an educator, author, and creative leader, I have harnessed the power of story to build communities centered on empathy and belonging. Whether I am crafting a whimsical picture book, guiding students in my ESL classroom, or helping build community organizations, my core goal remains the same: to create warm, inviting spaces for learning, creativity, and connection.

The Sibling Journey Collection is a tender, beautifully illustrated series designed to support children and families walking through the painful reality of stillbirth, miscarriage, or infant loss.
To best serve each family's unique healing journey, the same comforting narrative and heartwarming illustrations are available in four editions, including Spanish translations. Each book includes a customizable dedication page and space to record memories and condolences.
